Iran Lift Bitcoin Mining Ban September

The Ministry of Industries, Mining, and Trade will quickly raise the restrictions on bitcoin mining imposed in May, reported the Financial Tribune. According to the Iran Power Generation, Distribution, and Transmission Company (Tavanir), miners within the nation will reboot their rigs beginning on September 22.

Tavanir spokesman Mostafa Rajabi Mashhadi reportedly mentioned the corporate expects general energy consumption in Iran to say no by the top of the summer season. In that case, the bitcoin mining ban effected in May by the federal government can be lifted for regulated corporations using the nationwide energy grid to mine bitcoin.
